The Sikh Heritage Museum of Canada is a Canadian organization celebrating the unique culture, history, and legacy of Sikh Canadians.

Challenge
SHMC has been creating an experience that narrates the history of Sikh-Canadians through different eras.
The app aimed towards raising awareness in the Canadian community by addressing the historical facts and issues reflecting racial struggle, cultural heritage, and achievements by the Sikh-Canadian community.

The app also aimed towards making the experience available to tourists and history enthusiasts through a Canada wide tour of Sikh monuments.
Solution
The project was approached from a point of view of making it a virtual museum experience that tied with the cultural and historical standards.
We began the process with robust sketches, prototypes, and mock-ups that helped us lay the foundation of the app architecture. Our focus was on making the user experience of the app resemble the physical museum.

The UI of the app focused on expressing the cultural and historical aspect of the museum. The fonts and images were treated to visualize the era they were describing.
